China Glaze Sea Spray + Nail Art

Hi everyone! I have another polish from the Anchors Away Collection today. The Anchors Away collection has been really good to me so far. I've worn/used Knotty, White Cap, Sunset Sail and now Sea Spray and I've done nail art with Below Deck, Lighthouse and now First Mate (individual swatches of all three are coming in the near future). I have loved all of them! These are also my first real China Glaze polishes (Crackle Glaze doesn't really count) so I'm pretty impressed with the formula and colors. I love, love, LOVE how fast they dry! Another win for China Glaze.

Back to today's manicure, China Glaze Sea Spray + some nail art...

And the beautiful Sea Spray on it's own...

China Glaze Sea Spray is a gray toned light blue pearl with subtle silver micro shimmer. This polish was more opaque than I expected and I almost got away with one coat. Two coats gives it the best opacity though.

I then thought that this gorgeous color needed more. That's when the tape came out. I cut out a triangle shape in the tape and taped off my nails. I then went over it with Zoya Breezi. I applied a coat of Seche Vite and when it was dry taped it off a second time, this time going over it with China Glaze First Mate. I finished it off with a blue rhinestone on each nail from Born Pretty.

A part of me likes this mani a lot but then apart of me doesn't. I don't know how I feel about it. I think the triangles are just a little too uneven for my liking.

P.S. Don't forget to enter my giveaway! You can win one of two great prizes.

NYC- Wing It Wine Creme

I'm currently on Spring Break so I have plenty of time for swatching and changing up my manicure.I have so many polishes that I've purchased but never even worn, and one of them is this beauty.

I'm a little confused as to why this polish is called "Wing It Wine Creme" when it clearly is not a cream nail polish.

NYC Wing It Wine Creme is a berry toned, purple color with a strong gold duo-chrome. It dries as a pretty shimmer-pearl finish. The brush makes application so easy and the formula is amazing.

I layered it over L.A. Colors French Nail Purple, just...'cause. Then I applied one coat of Wing It Wine Creme.

These two were made for each other!

Here I made it a little blurry so that you can see more of the duo-chrome effect...

I cannot help but look at my fingers every 5 seconds, it's that pretty!
