When I first started blogging I had the idea that this blog would mostly showcase nail polish reviews and occasionally have a nail art post here and there. The outcome and the original plan are polar opposites! Now I wonder why I was ever afraid of nail art and I want to share my love for it to y'all!

I don't know about you guys but having a finished manicure (nail art or not) looks a lot "prettier" than naked nails. The atrocity that is my fingers desperately needs a pretty, flattering design.
It's a great skill for your resume
Okay, so I may or may not be serious about this one. If you're going to cosmetology school, you may want to add this to your resume/portfolio but um, Harvard probably won't be too interested. Either way, it's a skill!

People will think you're a nail art God
Say you spend thirty minutes painting on some stripes; the second you step out your door people are all over this design. When I first started out, any design was impressive to me (yes, even polka dots) so a nail art virgin will surely be mesmerized.

It helps to de-stress
Now I may not be one of the many bloggers who have to run a household, work full time, and raise children but even I enjoy the relaxation that comes with painting my nails. It may not be scientifically proven but trust me on this one!
