Finally some new nail art, right?
Valentines day is one of those holidays where I struggle to create an interesting, unique design for my nails. Memorial Day and Easter are the same way for me! Sooo as a result we have this pretty simple, kind-of-expected design but I still think it's really cute!
All this week I'll be showing designs featuring Laquerlicious polishes! Michelle was kind enough to send me some of her creations to review as well as a few for a giveaway (up tomorrow) and I will be showcasing them throughout the week!
For this manicure I used Zoya Jacqueline as the the nude base and Laquerlicious Cobalt Twist as the blue glitter base. To create the hearts I used a thin striper brush and alternated the colors. I first drew the left side of the heart and of course went back and drew the other half. One thick coat of top coat finished off this look.
The star of this manicure, Laquerlicious Cobalt Twist, has a pretty medium-blue base with small blue glitter and larger purple and violet glitter as well as iridescent blue shimmer. In the bottle this polish wasn't too exciting but on the nails it is stunning! I used about three easy coats in this manicure to reach it's full opacity.
