Review: Fingerpaints All You Need Is Color

Hi my lovelies! For today's post, I'm showing All You Need Is Color from Fingerpaint's new summer collection: Peace, Love &  Color. I was really excited when I got this polish, even if I'd heard such bad things about the formula. Although the color is pretty, all the reviews are right--the formula sucks!

This is actually my first Fingerpaints nail polish so it was a big let down, but hopefully not all Fingerpaints have formula like this one.

Fingerpaints All You Need Is Color is a teal blue jelly glitter. It's a nice mix of green and blue glitter but unfortunately this was really hard to work with. I'm not even going to sugar coat this because the formula was that bad. It was goopy, thick and applied unevenly. Not only that but it took at least three coats to be opaque. And even then my nails still showed through the clear jelly base.

Now here comes the crazy part, the formula was bad (as I think I made very clear), but I do not think that should discourage you from buying All You Need Is Color. It is a gorgeous and unique color that would also be great for layering. But if you are big on buying nail polishes with good formula--do not buy this.

  2. This teal looks great with your skintone ! -Love it cause it is packed with glitter ^_^

Do you think some nail polish thinner will fix the goopy, thick consistency ??

  3. @Forever'92 Definitely. It's not so goopy that you have to wait for it to drop out of the bottle but it's thick enough to need a good few drops of thinner.

  4. The formula on this is an oddity to Finger Paints. They usually have a wonderful formula. I may have to send you one to show you!! That color does look great on you though!

  5. @KrisinPhilly That is very kind of you, but I'm going to have to say no thankyou(: I trust your word. I've been very interested in their recent Spring collection so maybe I'll test that out soon. (:
